Yes, I already posted about Vapor Trail here once before, but let me try just one last time.Welcome to r/Gundam, your home for all things in the Gundam on Reddit. The attached video is sort of a highlights reel that I made using scenes from the movie and a track from the free audio website Dova-Syndrome called "the Pale of World". But I'll be already happy if this thread simply gets more people to watch the movie. And sadly I'm no good at signal boosting things, so there is little chance of activating Reddit power for this. Less than 15 hours left - so nothing short of a miracle will help it reach its goal (needs about $7k more to meet it). The site accepts foreign credit cards and PayPal just fine (I backed this myself), and the reward is an artbook with setting materials. It's a solo project, so corners have definitely been cut, especially in the voice acting department - but the creator is currently running a crowdfunding campaign to hire professional VAs and composers to make a "definitive version" of the movie. Given the concepts it's utilizing, a friend of mine who is a huge mecha fan called it "Gundam NT done right".

Where it may lack in production values, it compensates with a well thought-out sci-fi setting and heart-rending character drama. It's made entirely by a single animation student and it's a Fafner/Yukikaze-inspired robot anime with a yuri love triangle. I just cannot believe more people haven't seen it yet - the movie is called Vapor Trail and you can watch the whole OVA here with English subtitles:
